Buck up Sonam Kapoor!

Soon after the wedding, Sonam Kapoor headed straight to Cannes to attend the ongoing prestigious do. Fresh from her bridal preparations, there too she showed up in a pastel lehenga. Sorry to say, but it was too average a look by her own standards. The problem was not the lehenga but considering the ongoing fashion game at the red carpet, there was nothing exciting about her look.

Agreed she made a late entry this year but this is her eighth year in Cannes and in those past years, she has graced the megaevent in some dramatic appearances. While the film industry and the fashion fratenity back home would heap praises at her, on social media there would gush-fest over her looks. Appearance after appearance, she would set a new benchmark not just for herself  but others too. But this time, she seem to have disappointed her fans.

Especially when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut have set the tone for the season with some real edgy outfits, she needs to buck up.

In this season of Super Dancer, Shilpa Shetty’s style game was all about half sarees. From traditional Kanjeevaram to rich Benarsi sarees, she strutted in some of the finest designs in half-sarees. But for the Holi special episode of the dance show, she took the boho route.   That’s not all. Her colour choices were too unique to go with Holi. You may expect her to show up in a crisp white outfit or a colourful designer wear. But she showed up in none.
