The film industry and fans woke up to the heart-breaking news of Sridevi’s demise on Sunday morning. It was a rude shock that no one could come to terms with.

Just a few days ago, she was reported to have flown down to Dubai for her relative Mohit Marwah’s wedding. On his big day, the first female superstar of Bollywood had dressed up in a traditional Manish Malhotra lehenga. From a necklace and earrings to rings and a mangtikka, she had adorned herself with some of the exquisite jewels. Seeing her posts on social media, her fans could not stop crushing on her gorgeous looks. In one of the videos, she was also seen dancing to the tune of Kaala Chashma and how! She left her fans wondering if someone can look this ravishing in her 50s.

Little did they know that this would be her last fashion outing and they will have to wait for her mortal remains, after this. As soon as the news spread, her family, friends and fans only hoped for it to be one of those nasty rumours. But it wasn’t. The ultimate truth, the harsh reality of life, had come into play. She had fallen asleep forever. May her soul rest in peace.
