How true are the stories of Vidya Balan’s love affair?

Before you jump the gun, let us clarify – Vidya Balan is not cheating on her husband Siddharth Roy Kapoor. They are very much together and head over heels in love. The rollicking love affair we are talking about is between the Begum Jaan actress and her stunning sarees.

Ever since she has taken a shine to six yards, looks like no other outfit pleases her anymore. Whether stepping out for a party or a promotional event, she is invariably clad in a saree and how! Be it Banarasi, be it Kanjeevaram or any contemporary designer sarees, she has been giving major saree goals to her fans. As she is painting the town read with the stories of her love affair with sarees, fashion bloggers are singing peans about her sartorial choices.

Even recently when she had been to the screening of a Marathi film Gulabjam, she was spotted in a crisp cotton saree and to go with it a pairof statement studs and a matching bracelet. Not bad! 

Still her love for sarees is questionable. Agreed she is in love with sarees but doesn’t she fear getting typecast? When was the last time, we saw her in a western wear? It’s been ages, so long long ago that we can’t even imagine her in one now. Surely just like we do, she too must be missing herself in a western wear. Doesn’t monotony bother her? Of course, it does. Remember how during the promotions of Tumhari Sulu, she lost her cool on one of the journos who had questioned her about her weight, as if he had touched her raw nerve. At the risk of offending her again, here’s our piece of advice to her: hit the gym!
