Will Ranbir Kapoor revive 90s fashion with Sanju?

Sanjay Dutt’s biopic is in the making. It has been titled as Sanju. Ranbir Kapoor has put in his heart and soul to portray the senior actor’s role. None other than Munna Bhai famed Raju Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra duo are at the helm of affairs. To achieve Sanjay Dutt’s looks and body language, Ranbir Kapoor has undergone a drastic makeover. Pictures from the sets of the film are already out in the public domain, stirring excitement amongst fans. A lot is riding on this movie. Its success means acceptance of the brand Sanjay Dutt by movie fans after the jail term, as his own film Bhoomi tanked without a trace while Ranbir Kapoor too is hoping to bounce back after a series of flops.   

Amidst this, we came across a throwback picture shared by Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend Sangeeta Bijlani on her twitter handle. It is a very very very old picture. In their heydays, the duo had starred together in Khoon Ka Karz, Hathyar and Yodha. Having stumbled upon this photo of her good old days, Sangeeta could not resist posting it yesterday. Apart from evoking nostalgia, it was a reminder of how fashionable our movie stars were even then. Posing in her denim jacket, Sangeeta is flaunting oversize studs and chunky rings. Even Sanjay Dutt is strikingly bejewelled in couple of link gold chains.

Hope Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Tabu, Dia Mirza, Manisha Koirala, Sonam Kapoor and the whole star-cast of the movie revives the 90s and the noughties fashion with the film Sanju.
