Is marriage on the cards for Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor?

Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor have hit headlines together on many occasions. They both have a past with Ranbir Kapoor. They had debuted in films in the year 2007 together. They were touted as the most promising new comers in the industry then and that’s what it turned out to be. Today, while Deepika is ruling the roost featuring in some big-ticket movies, Sonam Kapoor too has several award-winning roles to her credit. 

Cashing in on their connection, Karan Johar brought them on his talk show Koffee With Karan together for the inaugural episode and then, what followed was there for the world to see. While Ranbir maintained stoic silence over the unsavoury comments made on him on the show, his father Rishi Kapoor was quite vocal about his displeasure. He was upset with not just the girls but also the host. Must say, two actresses can never be friends but when it comes to gossiping, they can set the world on fire and that is what they actually did. They had set the tone for the entire season and there on, every guest on the show tried hard to match the standard set by the two. The whole season was full of revelations, much to fans’ delight.  

Coming back to the gorgeous girls. They are once again in news for a common reason. They have found their soulmates. As per the grapevine, while Deepika is apparently formalising her relationship with Ranveer Singh on her birthday, Sonam Kapoor too is speculated to have been taking her relationship with Anand Ahuja to the next level. Now, how true these conjectures are, only time will tell. Till then, feast your eyes on some of their jewellery face-offs.
