Priyanka Chopra is no more desi

If you still refer to Priyanka Chopra as desi girl, you are still stuck in the past. Long time ago, she had shed her desi-ness and moved on to a foreign shore. There in Hollywood, she not only starred in the Quantico series but also featured in a movie. Her latest pictures on social media spell out the western influence in her styling. Apart from skimpy top layered with a glossy overcoat and a matching trouser to go with it, the cool geometric pendants have made way to her wardrobe.

Good for her! Back home, nothing was going for her in Bollywood. Since 7 Khoon Maaf, she was trying hard to establish herself as a bankable female star and only after the release of Mary Kom she could clinch it. But that too was short-lived. Soon after that, a series of flops like Zanjeer, Gunday and Jai Gangajal hampered her star value a great deal. Plus, her equation with Khans was never like Katrina Kaif that after every flop she can go back to them and refuel her stardom. 

Not bogged down by the negativity around, she turned her gaze to Hollywood and enhanced her career graph.
