Padmavat has got a bumper opening. Fans have flocked in huge numbers to the theatres nearby. Quite clearly, Karni Sena’s protests against the film did not deter Padmavat fans even a single bit. Just like any other Friday, they caught first day first show of the most awaited film of the year. Looks like the wait has finally paid off, as they all walked out of the theatres with a happy face.

Must say, Sanjay Leela Bhansali deserves a huge round of applause for this movie extravaganza. Padmavat literally transports its viewers to a different world altogether. The brilliant performances, the grandeur of the sets and the Rajputana essence, stays with you for long. Even after the movies is over, you dwell in Khilji’s quest for love…Padmavati’s jauhar and more so, you just can’t get enough of Ghoomer... Deepika Padukone’s charm will definitely bring you back to the theatres again!

Not just Padmavat fans, even the star cast is unfazed by Karni Sena’s fresh row. While media is abuzz with the news of protests, Deepika Padukone has been slaying us with her stunning appearances. Recently she took the traditional route to grace HT India’s Most Stylish Awards and had the onlookers spellbound. It was hard to take eyes off her. But after a while, her look gave us a feeling of dejavu. Jogging our memory, we realised she had worn the same pink saree and had teamed it up with the same jewellery set before, for her best friend Aditya Narayan’s wedding. Gotcha! But we love you anyway!

Reading my blogs frequently on Sonam Kapoor you may get an impression that either I am a die-hard Sonam Kapoor fan or her publicist. But trust me, I am none. No matter how much I resist writing about her, she tempts me to give in with her stunning Twitter and Instagram posts.
