Hoops add Nargis' charm to Manisha Koirala's look

 Manisha Koirala

Sanju is a biographical drama that is based on the life of film actor Sanjay Dutt. Right from his childhood days to film career, marriages and link-ups and then, TADA, arm act and jail term, every phase of his life would be encapsulated in this movie. The film is sure to become the talk of the town, if not a blockbuster. Here’s why.

As a story, it is about the rise and the fall of a hero. Sanjay Dutt had become an overnight star, as soon as Rocky hit the theatres. Later, he went on to become one of the sought-after actors in town and gave mega-hits like Khalnayak, Thanedaar, Vidhata, Naam…While his filmography boasts of blockbusters and portrays a larger than life image of him, the controversies surrounding him and his personal crisis bust the myth around heroism. The audience will get to see that just like one of them, a superstar makes mistakes, learns from them and bounces back.

The film stars Ranbir Kapoor in the title role. But just recently, Manish Koirala’s look as Nargis made it to the internet and since then, has been trending. Minimal make up with hair pulled behind in a low bun and a bindi, her look is rounded off with a pair of hoops. This stunning pair of earrings are timeless. They have adorned actresses across generations. From Nargis and Manisha to Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt, until today it is a must-have accessory for heroines as well as fans and with a period drama that spans across different eras, its revival is assured. Coming back to Manisha's look. Must say, just like in her heydays, yet again she looks drop dead gorgeous. Can’t wait to see this brilliant actress play the legendary character!
