Will you spend Rs. 200 to see Anushka Sharma like this?

 

How do you imagine Anushka Sharma? Definitely not what you are seeing in these pictures. Her image that is set in our mind is that of a good-looking girl dressed in a stunning attire and mouthing some cool lines. But the Sultan actress' look in the upcoming film Sui Dhaaga, much to your disappointment, is just the opposite.

In this film, she is playing the role of a small town woman who has set out to find love and respect through self-reliance and for the same, she has sported a deglam look. To get into the skin of the character, instead of honing her acting skills, she has cut down on make-up expenses. Clad in a simple saree, her look has been rounded off with a traditional mangalsutra, a bindi, a sindoor dot and a bangle set.

Don’t you think, her look is a stripped down version of Radhika Apte’s look in Padman? Anyway! If you like Anushka Sharma in a glamourous look, then this movie is not for you. But if you want to see an inspirational film, Sui Dhaga definitely seems worth your time and money.
