Showbiz is all about image. How a star portrays himself or herself, is what public perceives about him/ her. Their image managers and publicists play a major role in that. For instance, Salman Khan who we knew as a bratty star kid back in the 90s is now known for his magnanimity. Didn’t Being Human, his PR's one of the most successful exercises, changed his public image just like that. The multiple court cases, from black buck to hit and run, everything is wiped out of public’s mind. Instead a lot of his fans have started empathising with him, every time he is called for the hearings. Apart from playing goody-two-shoes roles in films, he endorses some of the popular brands too. Not to mention, the well-publicised causes he is associated to. His journey makes a solid case for the new crop of actor who now swear by the power of image makers in the industry.

Taking a cue from this, Sonam Kapoor who had debuted a decade ago and was desperate for star status, built an image that of a fashionista and see today, she is the first name that comes to mind when talking of fashion. From ramps to endorsements, she features amongst the top stars. Capitalising on that image, she also bagged some of the big-ticket movies that improved her box office performance too.

As we say, history repeats itself, Athiya Shetty’s career journey so far reflects the same. She too is making career moves that are more or less same as that of Sonam Kapoor. The Hero actress too is just another star kid in B-town yet with hardly anything great to talk about her acting chops or star value. Anyway, we wish her good luck. Shilpa Shetty ditched half-sarees on Super Dancer for Holi

In this season of Super Dancer, Shilpa Shetty’s style game was all about half sarees. From traditional Kanjeevaram to rich Benarsi sarees, she strutted in some of the finest designs in half-sarees. But for the Holi special episode of the dance show, she took the boho route.   That’s not all. Her colour choices were too unique to go with Holi. You may expect her to show up in a crisp white outfit or a colourful designer wear. But she showed up in none. Yet she rocked like a diva that she is.  Clad in a deep purple dress beautifully showing off her well-toned midriff, she embellished her look with a pair of gorgeous earrings and a choker .
