Radhika Apte's deglam look is breaking the internet
We were super thrilled to watch Padmavati. But the protest,
followed by indefinite delay in its release, has killed the excitement. Other movies
like Padman and Tiger Zinda Hai have already taken over now. The promotional
song of the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer movie has become a rage
amongst movie buffs. Even Akshay Kumar’s next - a biopic of a social activist
from Tamil Nadu, is creating waves. The trailers of the movies have intrigued
the audience. Although fans are looking forward to watch Salman and Katrina’s
comeback after a long time, Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte in their deglam avatar
have charmed one and all.
We have always known Radhika Apte for her bold characters. In
her village belle look for Padman, Radhika has taken the nation by storm. She’s
playing the role of the social activist’s wife in the movie and for the same, she
has rounded off her look in a carelessly draped saree, centre-parted pulled
back hairdo and just a string of mangalsutra. Fans and the fraternity are pleasantly
surprised by her new outing.
Since 2009, Radhika has been active in films through various
mediums. From Bollywood to regional cinema and short films, she has tried her
luck everywhere. But after Shor In The City that released in 2011, she came in
light only when her short-film – Ahalya, went viral on the internet. The industry
sat up and took notice of this sensuous starlet who is also a powerhouse of
talent. Until now, she has just kept the ball rolling through several insignificant
roles and short-films. In the true sense of the word, Padman is her first big
break. Finally, she’s paid her dues! Way to go girl…
